Abstract
Among the legitimate rights of men is the permission of polygamy, which is recognized for men according to the explicit text of the Qur'an, subject to the observance of justice between spouses. Despite this being permissible by Sharia, the remarriage of men, sometimes in practice, requires harm to family life and society, which will result in irreparable damage, including the weakening of the foundation of the first family life. On the other hand, one of the ways to ensure people's mental health from the perspective of Islam is to consolidate the foundations of the family and raise its culture; This research, shows that since the mental health of each family member plays a significant role in maintaining the mental health of other members and, consequently, the mental health of the community members; Therefore, expediency requires that, based on the rule of harm and harm and other jurisprudential evidences, there should be restrictions on the ruling on the permissibility of such marriages, and the ruler of Sharia, under the title of government rulings, should stop the spread of remarriage - if it is oppressive and against the interests of the society.
