Criticism in the Poems of Women Poets after Revolution (Fatemeh Rakeyi and Sepideh Kashani)

Abstract

At present time, public poets and authors have conveyed problems by means of criticism, in order to protect the values of the Revolution and disseminate revolutionary thoughts. From among these women poets we can name Rakeyi and Kashani. The purpose of this study, conducted through analytic-statistical method, is to analyze the critical poems of these two poets, their thematic contents and methods of composition. The statistical analyses show that both poets have employed a realistic, and at the same time a borderless, attitude in criticizing social problems and human society; in a way that their critical poems are reflective of sociopolitical problems of the society and the time. Such kinds of poem not only highlight the active role of women in political and literary arenas but also approve social theory in literature; which considers artto be influenced by social and political contexts.
