Abstract

The present study aims to provide a typology of the construction of religious identity with an emphasis on coverage among women in the virtual network Instagram. The meaning of constructing a religious identity is how to construct and display a religious identity among female users covered. This research has been done qualitatively using netnography technique and the data have been analyzed using thematic analysis. In this research, an attempt has been made to analyze the content of ten-page high-traffic posts with a high number of followers. The selected pages are 12 and the publication period of the posts is from the beginning of 1398 to the end of November 1398. According to the qualitative content analysis of the selected posts in the pages under review, it is possible to cover the styles Classic and international style; Identity based on beauty myths; Classic taste-based identity; Casual and informal coverage Bazir pointed out the categories of casual coverage in accordance with Iran Trend criteria and based on fashion and finally modeling activity.
