Instagram clips are an arena for representing many concepts, including girlhood. Girlhood is a set of concepts that represent girls' identity. The existing research gap in the field of girlhood studies in the Instagram space made this research necessary. Considering the constructed nature of the studied phenomenon, the qualitative research paradigm and research method is qualitative content analysis. The target community of the research includes all Instagram clips that had two basic conditions. First, dealing with girlhood and having many visitors the number of clips studied were 34, which were determined based on the principle of saturation. The most important findings obtained from the research confirming girls' preferences include taste, economic and physical preferences.The meaning of the girl from the boy sometimes made her as a helper, reliable and dependable, and sometimes as a weak promise and opportunist. The object of the girl is also presented with positive qualities such as good taste, being smart and trustworthy, and also with qualities such as upstart, naivety, immorality, bargaining, disloyalty, indifference and making excuses. Girls' interactions are sometimes romantic, conversational, asking for help, questioning, and sometimes teasing and business Verbal superiority is often represented in favor of boys.
