While today, women directly play their influential role as supervising engineers and architectural designers, in the past, women did not have such a role. In order to understand the role of women in the past of architecture, from 12th to 14th centuries AC in we choose Yazd in the case study. It seems to Muslim women have played an important role in the prosperity and development during these centuries, which can be explained by relying on the historical and remaining architectural buildings. Because of the Iranian architectural history has paid less attention to the effective role of women, in this article, it was tried to pay attention to its based on historical texts and architectural cases. we studied the effective role of women in the development and prosperity of Yazd architecture that is explained with the descriptive-analytical-inferential method. At first, these active women are introduced. Then, answered to this question: "What was the role of the Muslim women in the prosperity and elevation of Yazd architecture?". The results show that these women were effective in the prosperity of Yazd architecture as founders, patrons or knowledgeable in the construction and development of public buildings and the development of houses and gardens.
