Local learning centers, as highly effective educational structures, fulfill roles that extend beyond the mere transmission of knowledge, serving as platforms for the comprehensive empowerment of individuals, particularly women. This qualitative, descriptive phenomenological study explored the role of local learning centers in the academic and career guidance of women in West Azerbaijan Province by analyzing the experiences of learners and administrators. The sample consisted of 27 participants (including education officials, center managers, instructors, and learners) selected through purposive criterion sampling. Data analysis was conducted using Colaizzi’s seven-step method. The findings revealed four main themes—personal and social empowerment, skill training and professional development, career counseling and market integration, and the supportive role of learning centers and governmental institutions—encompassing 15 subthemes. The results suggest that local learning centers, when adopting comprehensive educational and social strategies, can significantly enhance women's livelihoods, strengthen their social engagement, and improve their overall quality of life.
