Humor is a form of satire in which reformist and social motives are usually discussed, so it can be said that humor is a means, not an end. This study uses the approach of the American school of comparative literature to examine the themes, elements and literature of political, social and cultural humor (family, women, marriage) in the satirical content of four Egyptian and Iranian satirists (Ahmad Rajab, Jalal Amer, Hossein Tawfiq, and Abolghasem Halat). The hypothesis of this research emphasizes the existence of common and influential political, social, and cultural themes and elements (family, women, and marriage) in the satire of the four satirists. The results showed that unlike Persian satire, many Arabic satires are harsh and vulgar. However, it can be said that all four writers, although they are from two different languages and cultures, have in a way expressed the issues of society in a soft and unassuming language with humorous content, and their humor is a weapon to criticize governments and discover the flaws of the ruling system and an attempt to reform and develop the society and the family.
